Saito is known for his tenacious efforts and contribution to the revision of the Japanese “No Dancing Law”.
His practice emphasizes the legal support for night entertainment industry. Aside from his daily practices, he leads the civil advisory board for the All-Party Parliamentary Group for night time economy. He also acts as an advisory for the trade association consisting of major urban developers, hotels, restaurant, bar, clubs, small clubs with live music, and other entertainment business units.
Saito continuously supports the night life economy in regard to night tourism, night transportation, branding, contents development and urban development.
Licensed to practice law in New York, Tamayu is the owner of an international boutique consulting firm with a strong focus on the entertainment industry. Her transactional practice is unique in that she brokers cross-cultural relationships and helps her clients navigate new frameworks in a rapidly changing international landscape.
Tamayu is also a left-brain thinker where she devised marketing and public relations campaigns for Grammy-winning artists and brands entering the Japanese market. All campaigns of the firm are crafted in close collaboration with local influencers and each narrative of the artist or brand is a bespoke design responsive to local tastes.
She is also currently an active talent buyer for Creativeman Productions in Tokyo and books headliner class artists for Summer Sonic, Sonic Mania, and has booked headline shows for Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Eminem, Zedd, The Chainsmokers and many others. She has also brought Electric Zoo and Ibiza’s sensational party, elrow, to Japan and lent her knowledge of the market to booking two successful EDC Japan lineups.
Tamayu established Gradient with Saito after a trip to Ibiza inspired them to revolutionize the nighttime offerings of Tokyo.
